- Engraved with their name, the years they gave it and the dates, and nothing else
- The name is sized to the board, so a short name and a long one both fill it the same way
- Two tone bamboo, 18 inches by 12 inches, a full three quarters of an inch thick
- Pale bamboo ends frame a darker centre panel, so the engraving sits in its own field
- Laser engraved into the grain, never printed on top
Most retirement gifts are a plaque that goes in a drawer or a joke that lands once. This is the rare one that ends up in the kitchen, which is where a lot of newly retired people suddenly spend their afternoons. Nothing on it says the word retirement, which is exactly why it stays out on the counter years later.
The line that does the work is the number. Thirty five years, forty one years, whatever it actually was. Anyone can buy a gift with a name on it. Putting the count on there says somebody was paying attention.
How to Personalize
- Enter the name. We set it in capitals and size it so it fills the board, whether it is four letters or ten.
- Enter the years of service, for example 35 YEARS.
- Enter the dates for the bottom line, for example 1990 - 2025.
Read it back once, then add it to your cart. We engrave exactly what you type. Our team laser engraves every board by hand in Monroe, Connecticut.

Most orders take 5-7 business days from order to delivery with standard shipping, though times may vary based on your location. We also offer expedited shipping (3-5 business days) at checkout. Many items ship from our warehouse within 1-2 business days.
Can I cancel or change my order?

We will do our best to accommodate updates to personalization details, shipping address, or product selection before production begins. Once production starts, changes to personalization are not possible and once it is shipped changes to the shipping address is not possible.
