Straight, V-Cut or Punch: How to Choose
The cut changes the draw, so this is a real decision rather than a style one. It is also the question most people arrive here with.
Straight cut works on everything, which is why most people own one. A double blade guillotine removes the cap cleanly and suits any ring gauge. It is the safest gift because it cannot be wrong for his cigars. The Nickeled Cigar Cutter is the plain version and the Cigar Carry Along pairs one with a case.
