Groovy Guy Gifts is a family owned shop in Monroe, Connecticut. Most of what we sell is personalized to order right here, one name, one date, one story at a time. This page is how it happens.
It started with a simple idea
Chris Bajda founded Groovy Guy Gifts in 2013 and has spent more than 15 years finding and designing personalized gifts that people keep. He still walks the NY NOW trade show in New York City every year looking for what belongs in the shop next.

How your gift gets made
Four steps between the moment you order and the moment it lands on his doorstep.
You tell us his story
His name, a date, a message, an inside joke. You type it on the product page and personalization is always free.
We set the design
Your text is placed in the exact font and layout you see on the product photos, sized and fitted to the piece you picked.
We make it to order
Laser engraving, machine embroidery, and printing happen in our own Monroe, Connecticut shop. Your gift is made when you order it, not pulled off a shelf.
We check it and ship it
A real person looks over the finished piece before it is packed. Most orders ship in 1 to 2 business days.

This is what "we make it to order" actually looks like: a name and a message, laser-engraved straight into the crystal, on the exact piece that ships to your door. Not a sticker, not a print, the real thing, made right here in Monroe.
The Ways We Personalize
Different gifts call for a different machine. Here are the four methods we use most, with a favorite example of each.
Laser Engraving
Wood and crystal, cut clean into the surface itself so the name lasts as long as the piece does.
