Pick the bag color, pick the thread, and his initials go on the front panel in bold block letters he will see every time he packs. Four bag colors (green, brown, black and white) and 16 thread colors mean the bag reads as his, not like everyone else's.
Inside, one wide zippered compartment takes a weekend of clothes, and the front zip pocket keeps the small things where he can reach them. The shoulder strap comes off when he would rather carry it by the leather handles.
