Finding a gift for the grandpa who has everything is hard. What he has that nobody else does is his stories: the first job he ever had, how he met Grandma, the fish that got away. This journal gives those stories a home, with his name on the cover like the title of a book he wrote.
The cover is laid out like the title page of an old hardcover. Pick the title that fits him, add his name, then a line about him and, if you like, a short line at the bottom. On Brown it engraves in gold, on Gray in a dark charcoal, and on Black in silver.
Give it at Christmas with a note asking him to write one story a week. A year from now, the family has something they will keep for generations, in his handwriting.
How to Personalize
- Choose your cover color: Brown (gold engraving), Gray (dark engraving) or Black (silver engraving).
- Choose the title: The Life & Times of, The Story of, The Adventures of, The Wit & Wisdom of, The Legend of or The Book of.
- Type his name the way you want it on the cover, like Joseph Miller or Papa Joe. It is engraved in capitals. Up to 24 characters.
- Type a line about him, like as told to his grandchildren, Stories worth passing down or Husband, Dad & the best Papa. Up to 34 characters.
- Optional: add a short bottom line, such as Grandpa since 2012 or Loved by six grandkids. Up to 24 characters, or leave it blank.
