    Can I see a preview of the personalization before it ships?

    It depends on the product. On many of our items, you'll see a live preview of your personalization right on the product page as you enter your text, so you can see exactly how it will look before you add it to your cart. For other products, you simply enter your text and our team takes it from there.

    Either way, here's what doesn't change: every single order is reviewed by our personalization team before anything gets engraved, embroidered, or printed. Our team takes real pride in getting the details right, and if something looks off or we have any questions about your order, we'll reach out before we start production.

    So whether you get a live preview or not, you're in good hands.

    What if I make a typo or enter the wrong personalization?

    We get it, it happens. As long as you catch it quickly, we can fix it. Reach out to us as soon as possible after placing your order at support@groovyguygifts.com and we'll do our best to make the correction before your item goes into production.

    Once an item has been engraved or personalized, we aren't able to make changes, so speed is key. Double-check your spelling, names, and dates before hitting that order button (we're looking at you, "Davd" instead of "David").

    The good news: our team reviews every order before production, so if something looks obviously off, we'll reach out to confirm before we start.

    How do I personalize a gift? Is it complicated?

    Not at all. We've made it as simple as possible so you're not spending your afternoon figuring out a gift.

    Here's how it works: find the product you want, enter your personalization details right on the product page (think name, initials, a date, or a custom message), and add it to your cart. That's it. No back-and-forth emails, no design software, no guesswork.

    On many of our products you'll even see a live preview update in real time as you type, so you know exactly what you're getting before you order. And before anything gets engraved or printed, our personalization team reviews every order to make sure the details are right. If we have any questions, we'll reach out before we start.

    Is personalization really free? Are there hidden fees?

    Yes, personalization is completely free on every single order. No upsell at checkout, no "premium engraving" fee, no fine print. What you see is what you pay.

    We know a lot of sites lure you in with a low price and then tack on a customization fee right before you hit purchase. That's not how we do things. Free personalization has been part of the deal since day one, whether you're ordering one gift or eight.

    So go ahead and add the name, the date, the inside joke, whatever makes it theirs. It's all included.

    How long does delivery take?

    Most orders ship out of our Connecticut office within 1 to 3 business days. From there, delivery time depends on where you're located.

    Customers closer to the Northeast and New York City typically receive their orders faster, while those further away can expect a few extra days in transit.

    The further you are from Connecticut, the more time you should allow for delivery.

    What is your return policy?

    We want you to love your purchase. If something isn't right, reach out to us within 30 days of your order and we'll do everything we can to make it right.

    Because personalized items are made specifically for you, we're unable to accept returns or exchanges on customized orders. However, if we make an error on your personalization, we will replace the item at no cost to you, no questions asked.

    For non-personalized items, we're happy to accept returns within 30 days as long as the item is unused and in its original packaging.
